Traffic Production Assistant/Graphic Designer 

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide back-up to the Traffic Production Coordinator an integral role in the scheduling and tracking of projects through the Marketing Department. Working as a liaison for the management, scheduling and coordination of Levin Group company, corporate projects and consulting marketing assignments so that they receive the highest level of service from all areas of the Marketing Department. 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Works with the Traffic Production Coordinator to:

  • Open jobs for planned marketing activities/projects– this encompasses developing the job request and organizing the production schedule.

  • Helps to plan and oversee standard and electronic mailings based on the direct mail, trade show, and promotional schedules, initiating each mailing, working with the mailing vendors, and determining the need for additional mailings as needed.

  • Maintain editorial calendar, ensuring timely completion and submission of editorial content to publications and corporate clients.

  • Filing and maintaining records and samples of projects

  • Any other traffic production tasks as assigned by the Traffic Production Coordinator or Sr. Marketing Manager

  • Works with the Design Manager to provide design support as needed for individual projects and overflow work for consulting marketing projects.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Bachelors Degree preferred.

  • 3+ years progressive related experience, preferably in advertising, marketing or creative department or a combination of education and related experience.

  • Strong office administrative and computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite, Power Point,  MS Project, Copper Project Management or other project management software, a knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, CRM and ACCPAC.

  • Excellent client service experience; self-starter who works well in team environment.  

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, excellent follow-up and multi-task ability.

  • Superior proofreading, fact-checking, verbal and written skills.
